QHow long is the term of the JEI Franchise Agreement?
AThe initial franchise term is for two years with a two year renewal option. There are no renewal fees.

QDoes JEI offer franchise training?
AJEI offers a comprehensive training program conducted in our corporate office.

QDo you offer protected territories?
AYes, protected territories are determined by student population and proximity to other JEI Learning Centre.

QHow long has JEI been in business?
AJEI was established in Korea in 1977 and has been franchising throughout North America since 1992.

QDo I need to have an educational background to open a JEI Learning Centre?
ANo, but experience in the field of education and/or business is preferred. JEI, however, will train all new candidates.

QHow will JEI support my franchise?
AJEI offers support through numerous methods including but not limited to individual centre visits, monthly and annual meetings, corporate training, localised and national marketing/branding strategies.

QWhat does the franchise fee include?
AThe initial franchise fee includes the use of the JEI brand name and its trademarks, proprietary workbooks and materials, access to our business know-how and other franchise related support. The franchise fee also includes the fees and materials for the introductory New Franchise Training (NFT) programme created to prepare all new franchise directors for the opening and operation of their centres.

QHow much is the monthly royalty fee?
AThe monthly royalty fees are based on the number of subjects enrolled at the centre. A subject is deemed as a single JEI programme taken by a student. A student can be enrolled in more than one subject at a time such as JEI Maths and JEI English.
